There is a bug going around some of the games that makes it impossible to buy special property.
What happens is this: say you have 100 gang/posse/clan/whatever. In order to get the new special property, you have to have 102. You gain two more in order to be able to buy the property. However, when you add two more people and go to the property page, it now says that you need 104. The required number has raised without you having purchased the property.
Well, I have worked out a solution to it since I too was afflicted by this problem. While this is by no means official or foolproof, this is what has worked for me in every case.
How to work around the bug: First log on to the application. When you get to the front page and it says you have new adds pending, go to the property page first. Do not just go and add the new people to your gang/posse/clan/whatever. First, you need to go to the property page and verify that it say, as per our example, 102. THEN, go to your add page and confirm and accept the new adds. After that, you can go back to the property page to buy the new special property.
Step by step for those of you who hate paragraph instructions.
- Log onto the application in question.
- Go to the property page.
- Go to the accept adds page and accept your two (or more friends)
- Go back to the property page and purchase your property.
It is important that you view the property page FIRST before anything else. Just going to the add page first and accepting the new add requests will make it so that the number jumps up by another two without you having purchased a thing.
