Do you play Pirates on Myspace? If you do, you know that all of the plunder jobs are separated into level categories. By playing each job enough, you can ‘master’ that plunder job, earn yourself the tier/level title, and then the category level itself when you complete all to 100%. However, it doesn’t end there. As soon as you finish mastering a plunder job, a blank star will come up for a total of three stars in all when you play enough. As soon as you master the category level, you can fill your second stars, then your third stars. All three times you master a plunder job, you receive a skill point.
Master once and you get the title of that tier/level category be it scallywag, etc. When you master a second time, you become “skilled” and have a 5% increase in loot drops in that level. When you master a third time, you become a “master,” have a 10% increase in loot drops in that level, and gain a bonus special item that will add something to your stats and improve upon your game play.1

ive done the Travel in search of the Phantom Treasure plunder more than a 100 times acquiring almost 100 skull pendants yet my mastery level is still at 1 and only one star!
any ideas?
You have to master the whole level, that is all the plunder options to move up in level mastery.

The plunder mastery award for Commodore is x2 energy regeneration. So,you get 2 energy points back for every regeneration cycle instead of just the 1.
I have mastered all plunder jobs in level 4, and still cannot move up to the new level. There are 3 stars (bronze, silver & gold) next to each plunder job. Even though each plunder job bar is at 100% and I have 3 stars next to each one, I keep plundering to no avail. What am I missing?
