version 1: –so tempting–

about: I took one small pic of Dita and pasted it on a bigger white image. Then using grunge brushes and stuff, I made the graphic. The font I used was called Singoth and it still one of my favorites. The layout was pretty basic, using tables and div layers to make the columns. Adding a little Orgy lyric from the song Stitches (my favorite by them) really completed the look, I think.
version 2: pippin took

about: What can I say? I love him too pieces. You have to be careful when you make a layout out of something that it’s a current trend. You can come off seeming to be one of the bandwagon jumpers, but I really felt this one was different since it wasn’t ‘typical.’ There’s not a lot of brush use or bright colors. It truly does reflect me and (though I have had only two) it is my favorite past layout.
version 3: illuminati
featuring: mana from malice mizer
about: I recently fell in love with the band Malice Mizer, their music is awesome and unbelievable. I think that Mana is gorgeous and I’m jealous that a man can look better than all women I’ve ever seen, including me. It was a simple layout using two iframes; one for the menu and one for the content box. I kept this one up the longest, liking it that much. It was also the first layout that I attempted PHP in. Cool huh?
Version 4: lost kings of men
featuring: the nazgul from the lord of the rings
about: This layout… well, I just thought it was too great. I mean, it’s the Nazgul, who are the Ringwraiths from The Lord of the Rings. What is cooler than black cloaked evil guys who never sleep and never rest? Nothing!
version 5: when I am queen
featuring: jessicka from jack off jill
about: I only had this layout up about two weeks because it was the one I put up before changing domains. It featured the singer of Jack off Jill, Jessicka.
version 6: beast of blood
featuring: viktor from the movie underworld
about: I remember that I made this layout to give out for free, but then I stuck my name on it and put it up when I got morbid-romantic.net back. Finally. I kept it up for about… six months. Too long. But it has the character Viktor from the movie Underworld in it. I manipulated a wallpaper avaliable from the official site in PSP8.
version 7: i am body beautiful
featuring: alan cumming as the emcee from cabaret
about: I think Alan Cumming is gorgeous, especially when he played the Emcee in the broadway musical Cabaret. I mean, look at those nipples. Look at that makeup. He’s just gorgeous. I couldn’t let an image this beautiful go unused. A layout needed it.
version 8: flesh for fantasy
featuring: visual kei band member from BLOOD
about: I wanted to use a Visual Kei band besides Malice Mizer or Dir En Grey… so you have one featuring BLOOD.
version 9: the rapid human flesh psycho horror
featuring: kyo from dir en grey
about: I’ve been on a bit of a Dir En Grey kick. It started back up when I heard their songs ‘Saku’ and ’24ko Cylindar.’ Now, I can’t get enough of them, and I think that Kyo, Die, and Toshiya have the best look about them… so I featured an image of Kyo and use lyrics from the song FILTH.
version 10: morbid simplicity
featuring: no one
about: I wanted something simple and something orderly. The layout originally had one menu down the left side and the content block, but there was just too much to fit in the menu. So, it ended up three column. These graphics are all fonts. Webdings. Very simple using all div properties.
