All the ETC:
Can you believe I have (or rather, I suppose in this context I should use the word ‘had’) never been to a Kroger? My old residence did not have one when I lived there, so it never occurred to me to look for one when I moved. So when I got a $25 gift card from Kroger to try out their store1, I immediately went online to the store locator and found my nearest Kroger, which so happens to be in the same complex as my banks. I’d never noticed!
It was during Kroger’s Cart Buster Savings Event, so the store was full of savings. In fact, Kroger’s family of stores participated, including: Ralph’s, King Soopers, City Market, Dillons, Smith’s, Fry’s, QFC, Baker’s, Owen’s, Jay C Food Stores, Hilander, Gerbes, Food4Less, Pay Less Super Markets and Scott’s Food & Pharmacy. So many of the most well known and well liked brands were included in this savings event. You could save money buying Honey Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Hamburger Helper, Yoplait, Progresso, Totino’s, Green Giant, Cascadian Farm, Tide, Charmin, Bounty, Pampers, Pantene, Crest, Iams, Febreze, Old Spice
My boyfriend and I went in and were just in awe, especially at the large selection of organic foods. We ended up heading to the frozen food section and getting loads of stuff. Since the both of us live very on the go lives with barely any time spent at home to cook, we have to prepare meals that are fairly healthy with minimal effort.
