LG is challenging us all to find our bliss by ridding ourselves of the ugly. In a contest that runs from 9/11/09 to 11/6/09, you submit your ugly to be entered to win one of five brand new LG Bliss phones. There are also secondary prizes to be awarded to fifty winners, which is a $50 gift card to be used toward the purchase of an LG Bliss phone.
All entrants must be 18 or older. To win, all you have to do is ‘find your ugly.’ Take a photo or a video of something ugly and post it to the LG Bliss Facebook Fan Page. You are allowed one entry per Facebook account. Your ugly will then be included in The Gallery of the Utterly Ugly. With the ugly out of your life, you are free to find bliss.
I am sure that you have something ugly around you! Perhaps something decorated that is absolutely atrocious. Or an outfit that you see that horrifies the eyes. Is there a particularly offensive car you see often driving or parking somewhere around you? We all live in a world of technological sprawl, so perhaps you could submit a picture of an ugly building or machine. The sky is the limit, truly. This is what I submitted for my ugly:
I saw this ‘gem’ in Fillmore, Utah while visiting family. Apparently, a man who lives there makes strange creatures and things out of twisted people of wood that he paints and poses. It’s actually quite a horrifyingly creepy place to visit and undoubtedly counts as ugly.
