What’s the worst book you’ve read recently?

Worst books, hm? Well, I don’t wan to call any authors out because I think that would be in poor taste and just plain mean, but I will disclose that I have read some pretty bad books in recent weeks. Some of them because they were boring, some because they were confusing, and some because the editing was not that good. I think it’s pretty inevitable that one out of every… hm… 5 books id going to be less than stellar. Though, if you get lucky, maybe one in eight. By the law of averages, you are going to end up reading something that doesn’t appeal. AWFUL books, though, are about one in 20 for me. I consider myself lucky in that regard.

    I can’t remember the last recent book I’ve read that was bad (likely because I blocked it out!) But I remember reading a vampire/faerie/supernatural romance series, Anita Blake, maybe? It was so frustrating because it was pretty much a light, girly reading except for the SEXSEXSEX every stinking chapter. It started going from story to erotica. Eep. I’m no prude, but the main character kept adding on sex partners, and it was killing me. DX
