My mood is:
Worn Out
All the ETC:
As some of you who may be frequent visitors know, I have a few reoccurring problems with my domain. One is a self-altering .htaccess that I think I have fixed by modifying permissions. Keep your fingers crossed. My current host, like most hosts, only allow a certain number of simultaneous connections. Unfortunately for me, I quite frequently have a large influx of visitors, which knocks my site offline and sends back Internal Server and High Capacity errors. I want to maximize my traffic, but when I optimize my SEO, it targets so well that I get a TON of hits and my site can’t handle it. In order to keep my site online, I have had to avoid SEO optimization and maximizing my traffic. This is a shame, too, because I could have much better rankings and adsense revenue if I could bring in the traffic my site COULD get.
So, it has occurred to me that I need to find a new host. I have once again been checking out WebHostingRating.com for their wordpress web hosting ratings. WordPress is a notorious resource hog, so it’s vital to find a host that can support what you need it to, as I am finding out now. I encourage all of you to use WebHostingRating.com if you are looking into web hosting. Why? Because it is about more than wordpress. If budget is important to you, you can search reviews and ranks of the best web hosts based on budget. If you have a joomla based site, you can search for the best joomla web hosting. They also have categories for blog, forum, windows, reseller, dedicated, and more. Really, it’s about you finding the best web host for you personal website needs.

I always check out the webhostingtalk forums when looking for a new host. My host now is great, though, so I hope I won’t ever have to do that again. LOL
Just curious, how much you use in terms of resources and how much you’re willing to spend?
