In Charter’s newest giveaway, the Laptop-a-Day Sweepstakes, they will be giving away one laptop every day for two months. From July 15th to September 15th, you can enter daily to win an HP 550 Notebook 15-inch with Windows Vista and a NeoTec Compu Backpack for you or for your child. After all, school is about to start and a laptop is a great resource to have. I know that when I got mine, it was a huge relief for me since I was always away from home and my desktop. I only wish that I would have gotten a laptop sooner. For students or businesspeople, laptops are pretty essential, and this is your chance to get one for free.

You can also win gift cards that range from $25 all the way to $100. If you win a gift card, you can use the money to help purchase some of those back to school supplies that are all too necessary. The gift cards available are for places like Macy’s, Best Buy, Olive Garden, Barnes & Noble, Gap, and more.

Make sure that you follow Charter on Facebook and Charter on Twitter. Keep up to date on each awesome giveaway that Charter hosts.

What’s the funniest book you’ve read recently?

I would have to say that the funniest book I’ve read recently is the book I am reading now: Undead and Unwed (Queen Betsy, Book 1) by MaryJanice Davidson.

The suicide scenes at the beginning were hilarious and Betsy’s reactions to everything vampire makes me laugh. It really is as if your average, every day girl just became a vampire, so all of her reactions are so funny.

Thanks to Lori over at Lori’s Reading Corner, I won a copy of To Tempt the Wolf by Terry Spear.

In this third in the series, wildlife photographer Tessa Anderson must prove her brother innocent of murder charges. But when she discovers a gorgeous naked man barely alive on her beach, she’s got a new world of troubles to deal with, not least of which is how he affects her with just a look, a touch, or a whispered word.

Hunter Greymore is a lupus garou, a grey werewolf. Hoping to keep a low profile at Tessa’s cabin on the coast, he’s drawn into her life—and into her bed. His animal instincts war with his human half, but in the end, the only thing he can do about this fascinating, adorable woman is to leave her forever —unless she becomes one of them.
