If you could close your eyes and just be Taken Away somewhere at this moment, where would you go?
I am closing my eyes right now and imagining that very place…
It is sunny, not at all dark and rainy like it is now. There’s a cool breeze that lifts the smell of murky canal water that would be unpleasant if not for the atmosphere. In the distance you can hear the water, the birds, the sounds of people talking. Gondola’s move through the water, the people within mirroring my pleasure at spending a summer day in Venice, Italy. Of course, the air is thick with the smell of food and coffee. All about me are building as historic and distinctly Venetian as they are lovely.
I would give ANYTHING to be there right now.
