So yet another Sunday Salon missed thanks to my website being down. The dreaded 500 and 503 errors struck again. This blog is just very attractive to spammers and some IP addresses were reported as hitting 100 times. All of these simultaneous connections eventually kills my website. I would get a private server if only I could afford something like that. I definitely do not make enough in donations and sponsorships to pay for an expense like that!
So, onto books.
I did FINALLY manage to do the two pending book reviews that I had sitting and waiting. I wanted to get them out before I totally forgot what I wanted to write. The further times gets, the less I remember or the less emotionally invested I am in a book. I like to write the review the night I finish a book, but I was just too tired and too busy.
So, this week I got out reviews of Roman Blood by Steven Saylor and Sway by Zachary Lazar.
This week I won Frenemies by Alexa Young and The Unearthed by Brian O’Rourke.
I got tons of cool books in the mail this week, also.
Right now I am reading The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe from that picture. The book discussion at Barnes and Nobles First Look just began today, so I need to head over there tonight and start joining in.
