I remember shopping around small and used bookstores all the time with my mother as a kid. Now I can only find about three within a 30 mile radius of me. None that I can easily get to, either. It's very sad. I guess I am part of the problem, though, by shopping at Amazon and Barnes and Noble instead of supporting smaller sellers. @Vanessa- They are getting harder and harder to find. It's all very quaint in my mind. But, is it just me or are small bookstores getting harder and harder to find? Since there is no small bookstore within 50 miles of my hometown, I end up doing my shopping in a Chapters, or at Amazon.. wherever I can get a good deal.
