How often do you visit the library? Do you have a scheduled library day/time, or do you go whenever? Do you go alone, or take people with you?

I visit the library whenever I need a new book. When I go, I tend to get only two books. How often I go depends on how long it takes me to read the two. Sometimes I will go to take one back but keep the other. If I can, I like to renew my materials online… saves on gas money to be able to renew my books from the privacy of my computer desk. Sometimes I go to the library once a week, sometimes once a month. However long it takes me to consume those two books in my possession is how long I have between visits. I like to go around noon time, before work or school rush packs the library with kids.

I do like to go alone, though. If I could, I would sit in the library for hours on my own browsing around the books. But, I have to go with Alfee, so it’s an in and out affair. I go in with the names of the books I want in my head, grab them, check them out, and then leave. I wish I could spend more time just hanging out and seeing what the library has. Sometimes the best finds are the ones you pick up at random and read. I don’t really have time to do that in the library when I am there.

    @Nise’- It is quite an act of self-control on my part. I want to leave with four or five, but I try to limit to what I know I can read in two weeks. Too busy!

    @Yvonne- It really makes things TONS easier. It means one less getting dressed, getting in a car, and taking a trip afternoon for me!
