It sounds like an emotional read. More than just your average romance and drama novel, I like that the main character is so uncertain of what she wants and who she is. I think it gives depth to a story to have good character development all the way. Assured people, characters who are certain of all ends and leave nothing loose for error, develop little unless they come to see the ground is less stable than they thought. It's more positive to work your way up then down and back up. I don't know, though, since I've yet to read To My Senses. I’ve just rambled on this entire paragraph about things that have absolutely nothing about the book… oops.

Guess who just won Siege of Macindaw by John Flanagan at Simply Stacie? That’s right, I did!

This is, apparently, the sixth book in the Ranger’s Apprentice series, of which I have read none. So, my goal is to read the first five before I pick up this one. I am going to hope that the library has the second through fifth book. If not, Amazon.com is going to be my best friend in this. I read the description of this book and saw all sorts of words like knight and ranger and fief. Fortunately, given my degree and interest area, I know TONS about the Middle Ages and Medieval social/economic systems. I’m sure the language and concepts within won’t defeat me. I can’t wait, actually.
