All the ETC:
This week has been a very productive week as far as books go. I’ll admit to everyone now that I have been reading incessantly to keep my mind off of every day things. You see, I am still anxiously awaiting my GRE scores. With every day that passes, I grow more nervous about not only how well I did but if I will get my scores in time to send the paperwork. Books are an escape.
In the span of two days, I finished both Medicus by Ruth Downie and The Last Wife of Henry VIII by Carolly Erickson. Granted, I was already about halfway done with both since they were my Barnes and Noble reading books. When I got my library card (finally), I got them.
Now that I am done with those two books, I am moving on… with three more. Remember my pledge not to read so many books at the same time? Well, I easily forget that pledge.

I got four books in the mail this week:

They were added to my TBR pile. When I get a book, I add it to the bottom of the pile so that my books are ranked in the order they are recieved by me in the mail.
I also won a few books this week in book giveaway contests:

I hope that they come in the mail soon! I’m still waiting on a few more books, which will be coming any day now.

I love to read too.
I just joined last week and already have 3 books comming my way.
Thought you might be interested in it!
Ever heard of Swaptree.com? Very cool, you put the books you have that you don’t want anymore on there and then trade them for books that you want…and all you have to pay for is shipping.
as much as a bookworm that I am,
I still find the lack of cash getting
in the way of buying more books lol.
@Nadine- That is why I have had to turn to libraries and advanced copies. Winning books helps me get my fix, too.
@Becca- I have never heard of this site, but I am going to join RIGHT NOW.
Love the sound of ‘Medicus’, it is added to my tbr list!
@Mog- I would highly recommend it. I loved the book.
