Okay, so I admit it: I have just sat here for the past half an hour playing games over at MagNext Virtual. Singing up for an account is free, always a bonus. When you join, you become a cute little sphere ball that bounces around a virtual world playing games, challenging other players, making friends, and shopping for add-ons with Magz coins gained by playing games. I’ve so far purchased myself a red paint job and some animated electrons to whirl around me as I play.

Now and then, as you role along the various worlds in the game, you can pick up dropped gifts. So far, I’ve gotten a soccer ball, a Santa hat, and a hanging ornament shape. ‘Tis the season. As you play and linger around the rooms, you gain XP (experience points) to move you up the level ranks. I’m still a level 1, but my XP are crawling up there and I hope to be a rank 2 very soon!

What kind of games can you play? You can become a gladiator in the MagNext Arena and challenge other players to see who is faster and more skilled. If you prefer to play alone, you can build a track at the iCoaster or race a car at the Spheron Spreed Challenge. Check me out; This is me playing the iCoaster game.

The iCoaster game is pretty intense because you have a set amount of time to pick the right track to place down for your ball or else fall off. I know that sounds very easy, but the trick is that the track is not always turned the way the choices are presented, so you have to think fast to flip the possible tracks around in your mind to determine which one would fit. It’s not like a jigsaw puzzle where you just fit things easily together by matching ridges.

I don’t have any friends yet on the game. That’s why all of you should join or else leave me your email address so that I can send you an invite. We can challenge one another! I’ll definitely be playing again. The games are fun but simple enough to keep me busy but not frustrate me to the point that I’d give up and never come back. Plus, I have to keep coming back so that I can rank up, get Magz and buy stuff. I want to see all of what is available.
