Grenouille is such an interesting character. For me, I found that despite being so inhuman, I know I would have been disappointed had he not been able to complete the perfume. So I guess I was sort of rooting for him. Is that weird at all? It's not as if there were any real protagonists in the novel. Ah yeah I thought that was a really good read, too.
